Stephen Foster For Mountain Dulcimer
Stephen Foster For Mountain Dulcimer - Mountain Dulcimer Sheet Music
128 pages, Item number 1301562DX, $22.95

This is a great book for a dulcimer player, and even for a non-dulcimer player. It has dulcimer arrangements for about 60 Stephen Foster songs, a CD with Shelley Stevens playing about half of the better known ones, and wonderful reproductions of the original covers of several of the songs. There is an interesting introduction, as well as a great biography of Stephen Foster. It's hard to believe that most of these songs were composed about 150 years ago, but easy to understand why they remain so popular today.
